Topic: Unleashing potential: Africa’s place in attracting future allocation of capital pools
Africa needs to attract material pools of long-tenored capital to realise the objectives of the African Continental Free Trade Area AfCFTA. Despite perceptions of a higher risk profile, Africa needs to deepen and widen its investor universe and get more investors to see “opportunity” before they see “risk”, to win in the fierce competition for capital. This session explored how Africa still offers attractive investment opportunities on a risk-adjusted basis.
