Africa Collective is an information, exchange and collaboration platform for Africa. Its network, events and publications are focused on advancing the African continent globally. The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat is the patronage partner of the initiative. Africa Unlimited is the management partner of the initiative.
Africa Collective was formed during a high-level business roundtable on Africa in Davos, Switzerland, during the time of the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in January 2020. Based on the impactful discussions between pan-African & global leaders held on the occasion, the vision of Africa Collective as a key enabler for global engagement with the continent was established.
The three pillars of the mission of Africa Collective:
To Inform
Using simple and effective means to communicate about opportunities in Africa now and in the future

To Exchange
Provide an anchor for African & international leaders, companies and organizations to exchange
To Collaborate
Combine forces, resources and existing initiatives to create a far reaching and meaningful platform for Africa with a much bigger impact
The platform is an all-year, pan-African initiative by and for private & public sector players on the continent. Besides its yearly flagship representation in Davos (2020, 2023, 2024 and upcoming 2025 agenda), the platform has consistently been present at proprietary & partner events in Africa and beyond, including the Africa CEO Forum, AfCFTA Business Forum “Biashara Afrika” & Intra-African Trade Fair. Africa Collective is continuously growing its network of partners which includes Standard Bank, Old Mutual, Novartis, Ringier amongst many others to exchange on key issues pertaining to the continent. The platform’s proprietary & partner media work (including with Business Insider Africa, Africa Business Magazine and CNBC Africa) has been widely highlighting Africa’s opportunities.
