Alienum phaedrum torquatos nec eu, vis detraxit periculis ex, nihil expetendis in mei. Mei an pericula euripidis, hinc partem.

The idea behind Africa Collective was sparked in Davos in May 2022 during the time of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting: the initiators & partners of the initiative had long observed that the overall representation of Africa at the Forum, at other global events and in international media was not commensurate with its global importance and opportunities the continent represents.
Roadmap to Africa Collective
Africa Collective Davos Event 2023
There had been great events and initiatives at and during the Forum focused on Africa, including an inaugural business roundtable of the initiators of the Africa Collective initiative in January 2020 to discuss key topics for African stakeholders in Davos. However, to attain much higher visibility for all efforts made to highlight the positive relevance of Africa, the need for a broader platform became clear.
Based on this, the Africa Collective was born in May 2022 with three key objectives:
To Inform
Using simple and effective means to communicate about opportunities in Africa now and in the future

To Exchange
Provide an anchor for African & international leaders, companies and organisations to exchange
To Collaborate
Combine forces, resources and existing initiatives to create one big platform for Africa with much higher visibility and impact
Key measures we are taking:

A more robust and exciting environment in Africa

The initiators, partners & advisors are crucial to the mission of the initiative:

Initiated by Africa Unlimited under patronage partnership of the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat, Africa Collective is a joint effort by organizations, companies and individuals to advance the African narrative and contribute to a global investment drive toward Africa.

As representatives from the public and private sector, media, investor and corporate environments, and African and non-African backgrounds, the initiators, partners and advisors of the initiative demonstrate the spirit of collective action.
